Check the item before loading it

The township's general HHW page lists examples including paints, lawn chemicals, auto fluids, batteries, computers, televisions and fluorescent bulbs. Noble publishes its own accepted and restricted lists for drive-through collections.³²

Those lists are not identical: the township includes mercury-containing devices among its examples, while Noble's restricted list names mercury-containing devices and elemental mercury. Confirm an uncertain item with the collection operator rather than assuming the general township list guarantees acceptance.³²

Noble also lists tires, pharmaceuticals, syringes and medical waste among restricted items. Its instructions call for chemicals to be labeled and securely sealed, and say containers larger than five gallons are not accepted.²

Plan for fees and the drive-through process

The calendar says fees apply. Noble's published instructions say payment is by credit card, materials are weighed and the charge is explained before payment. Check the operator's current booking information for the cost of your specific load; this guide does not reuse prices from older collection announcements.¹²
