Seneca Valley's school board approved a labor contract with Seneca Valley Educational Support Personnel at its June 8 action meeting. The agreement runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2031, according to posted district minutes. [Pages 1, 4]

The board approved the contract by voice vote, with everyone present voting in favor. Tim Hester made the motion and Mr. Savitt-Kraft seconded it. [Page 4]

A negotiation report from Eric DiTullio said discussions began in August 2025 and the support personnel group accepted the agreement on June 2. The report identified 161 administrative assistants, paraprofessionals and technology assistants covered by the contract. [Page 4]

DiTullio's report described an average salary rate increase of 4 percent. The minutes do not specify that this rate applies every year or equally to every employee, and they do not include salary schedules. The reported percentage therefore cannot support a calculation of individual pay or a compounded five-year increase. [Page 4]

The report also described concessions in healthcare coverage and an annual healthcare committee to review future costs. It did not quantify employee contributions or supply a total contract cost. [Page 4]

The approval establishes the contract term for these support roles. Assessing its full financial effect requires the signed agreement and compensation and healthcare schedules beyond the summary in the minutes.
